Vendor Development Program- Madhya Pradesh Laghu Udyog Nigam has been entrusted with a project of vendor development for large Government sectors , PSU and large industries of the state. This project is in line with the Government of India program of vendor development. The object of the program is to develop SMEs which are capable of supplying various components locally to large government sectors like Railways, Defense , Power , PSU like BHEL/ Coal fields and other private sector large industries. Following are the selected sector- Textile, Automobile, Defense, Pharmaceutical and Food Processing This program will be run for next 3 years and it has envisaged to develop approximately 500 SMEs as vendor for the industries of above sectors. This will, at one hand help large industries to have cost effective production and on the other hand will generate employment in the state.
Jabalpur readymade garment cluster- In order to provide all the manufacturing facilities, technological up gradation, global market capabilities under one roof in an organized manner, Govt. of India Ministry of Commerce and Industry, (DIPP) sanctioned Jabalpur Garment Cluster project under IIUS scheme on PPP mode. Two hundred units all ready operating in this cluster The project cost is Rs. 55.58 crore. Out of this GoI sanctioned Rs. 30.67 crore as grant in aid. Remaining amount has been arranged as contribution from beneficiaries and loan from banks/Financial institution The integrated cluster will provide latest state of art manufacturing facilities, library, designing center to the beneficiaries at nominal charges. The cluster will provide employment to appx. 40000 directly and indirectly. The units will be given opportunities for global export market.. This way an all ready existing un organized industrial sector will develop in organized way in line with latest advancement and global trends.
RBSM (Reverse Buyer seller meet)- This is an unique opportunity provided to SMEs of the state to explore the possibilities of overseas business at their door step. It is almost an annual event which is being organized by MPLUN with the help of the Government of India and the Commerce, Industries and employment Department of the MP. Through this program SMEs get an opportunity to interact with the overseas prospective buyers in an business environment facilitated by MPLUN The mission of the program " Exploring the concept of export marketing for small-scale sector with optimum utilization and expanding future possibilities. Connecting international consumer markets across the world with export industries of MP. Developing international network of marketing and product development expertise with the help of international designers, trend-setters" So far 6 Reverse Buyers Sellers meet have been organized successfully across the state.
